 Altar Guild

It is not recorded when the Altar Guild was formed. Ladies from the congregation have always done what is necessary to see that the church is ready for Sunday services. Their focal point is the chancel area. The ladies faithfully set up for communion, keep the altar furnishings polished, oil candles filled, and change the paraments and banners as the church year progresses. The ladies have also seen to the improvement of the altar’s furnishings by suggesting memorials for oil candles, banners, paraments, cross and flower vases. Thanks to these memorials, the chancel area has all new appointments. These ladies also organize the donations of Christmas poinsettias and Easter lilies that adorn the church during these special seasons. Volunteers are always appreciated.
