Choice Dollars

Thrivent initiated a charitable gift program called Thrivent Choice in 2009. Certain policies are normally taxed. Because Thrivent is a fraternal organization, this money can be awarded for charitable giving. Follow the steps below to see if you have Choice dollars. If so, please consider directing them to Concordia Lutheran Church.

How to designate Choice Dollars
1. Call 1-800-847-4836
An automated system will answer with a message that ends with the words, “Briefly, how can I help you today?”

2. Speak the words: “Choice Dollars”
You will be asked to enter the last 4 digits of your Social Security number. The receptionist will then ask a few questions to verify your account information.

3. Choose a charitable organization
Consider – CONCORDIA LUTHERAN CHURCH or the Charity of your choice.

Thank you for your past and present support.

Action Teams

Think about an unmet need in your community and how you could help. Apply to lead your volunteer team in a one-time fundraiser, service activity or educational event that can be completed within 120 days. $250 in seed money is available for each project.  Some restrictions apply. See Thrivent.com/actionteam or see Mary Buhrkuhl.
